Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Apple Tours & Travel, Inc., P.O. Box 13029, El Cajon, CA 92022. Refunds will be processed according to the following policy: The deposit is non-refundable. If your letter is received 60 days or more prior to the group’s departure, you will receive a full refund of all payments other than the deposit. If your letter is received 45 – 59 days before departure, you will forfeit the deposit and the cost of the airline ticket. If your letter is received less than 45 days prior to the group’s departure, you will forfeit 100% of all money paid. Reservations are not transferable at any time. The refund process takes approximately four to six weeks.
Payment Policy: Tour participation is confirmed once the deposit and signed registration card has been received by Apple Tours & Travel, Inc. Payments should be made by check or money order and made payable to Apple Tours. It is the responsibility of the participant to follow the payment schedule outlined on the Registration Information sheet and make sure payments are received by the specified due dates. If, for any reason, you are unable to follow the payment schedule, you must call Apple Tours to discuss alternate payment arrangements. The final payment must be received by the final payment due date or the tour participant will be dropped from the trip.
Behavioral Release: If the behavior of a tour participant endangers their safety or the safety of others, they will be removed from the tour and returned home at their own expense.
Returned Check Policy: There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
Deletions/Extensions Policy: The itinerary for this tour is subject to revision, should circumstances make such changes necessary. The tour price is based on a minimum number of participants and a specified itinerary. Should the number of participants fall below the minimum, or should the itinerary for this tour be changed, the tour price is subject to increase. Due to the nature of group pricing, individuals deleting a portion of the tour will not be entitled to a refund of that portion.
General Release: Apple Tours & Travel’s responsibility is strictly limited. Apple Tours & Travel and/or it’s tour representatives act as agents for the tour participants in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sight-seeing tours, restaurants, and transportation. Apple Tours holds itself free of responsibility for any liability that may occurr due to the performance of the independent contractors supplying services for the tour. Neither Apple Tours nor its agents or employees shall be liable for any accident, injury, property damage or personal loss, expense or inconvenience in connection with any accommodation, transportation or travel services that result directly or indirectly from any occurrence or condition beyond their control. This includes, but is not limited to: defects in vehicles, breakdown of equipment, theft, delay or cancellation, late departures, change of schedule, strikes, acts of God, commercial frustration, acts of war or terrorism, or the willful or negligent act and. or admission of the provider of services or their respective representatives including without limitation, their failure to deliver, or inadequate delivery of travel service.
